Malediwy is the duo of Marek Pospieszalski and Qba Janicki. They present “Bubbles Get Mad,” a new single from their upcoming album Eden (out August 9, 2024). Featuring enigmatic Japanese poet MA, the track is a dreamlike spoken word piece layered over Malediwy’s signature fusion of amplified acoustic instruments and analog electronics. Known for transforming saxophone and prepared drums into reactive sound modules, the duo draws inspiration from IDM, drone, and free improvisation. Eden will also include collaborations with New York rapper Nappy Nina and Polish alt-pop artist Błażej Król, further pushing Malediwy’s sound into bold, genre-defying territories.

Sara Persico is an Italian sound artist and performer whose work centres on voice, analog electronics and field recordings. She presented her work at festivals and venues such as Berlin Atonal, documenta fifteen, Ballroom Blitz Beirut, CTM Festival, Nyege Nyege Festival, Ormside Projects, La Station, Dancity Festival, Avant Art Festival, and Santarcangelo Festival.
She has collaborated with a diverse array of artists, including performing with Evelyn Saylor’s vocal ensemble for Caterina Barbieri’s light-years at Rewire Festival and London’s Southbank Centre, and working with artists like Elvin Brandhi, Andy Moor (The Ex), Tony Elieh, Ludwig Wandinger, Dirar Kalash, and Francesca Grilli.
Sara’s acclaimed solo debut album, Boundary, was released in March 2023 on Karlrecords, and her new album Sphaîra was released in February 2025 on Subtext Recordings. She is also among the artists selected by the Shape+ Platform, a European initiative supporting innovative music and art, for 2023/24.
Koenraad Ecker is a Belgian sound artist and researcher based in Berlin. He is fascinated by the dialectic interplay between the acoustic environment and the social relations contained within it;
by the magic of the ordinary and the ordinariness of magic. He’s worked with artists like Lord Spikeheart, James Ginzburg, Sara Persico, Ina Christel Johannessen, Yannick Jacquet and Ben Salisbury. Since 2021, his work has been moving towards an artistic practice that might be called sonic archaeology, a practise that combines oral history, field recording and archival research. His work has been heard at leading music festivals such as CTM Berlin & MUTEK; in squats, techno temples and plushy opera houses ; at renowned art institutions such as ZKM (Karlsruhe) and Akademie der Künste (Berlin) ; in series like Black Mirror (Netflix) and on music labels like Subtext, LINE & Opal Tapes. His work has been nominated for the Ars Electronica prize (2016) and won the Radiophrenia Prize for Radio Works (2021). He has taught or given workshops at the Universität der Künste (Berlin), Liszt Academy (Hungary), Nyege Nyege Studios (Kampala), KHM (Köln) and has spoken at numerous ethnomusicological academic conferences.
Ludwig to berliński artysta, kompozytor i perkusista, znany z eksperymentalnego podejścia do dźwięku. Po studiach w Jazz Institute w Berlinie rozpoczął solową karierę, wydając albumy m.in. w Average Negative, Orange Milk, Gin&Platonic, Creamcake i Light Years. Jego twórczość łączy free jazz, ambient, muzykę klasyczną i klubową. Współpracował z wieloma artystami sceny eksperymentalnej i popowej, m.in. z The Notwist, Brodinskim czy Elvin Brandhi, publikując na PAN, Genot Centre, Squama i innych. W latach 2024–2025 został wybrany jednym z głównych artystów Monheim Triennale.
Gerard Lebik jest kompozytorem, improwizatorem, artystą dźwiękowym i kuratorem działającym na polu muzyki eksperymentalnej i sound artu. Jest założycielem Sokołowsko Music Lab i twórcą festiwalu Sanatorium Dźwięku (2015-2024). Jego twórczość eksploruje różne źródła dźwięku i praktyki muzyczne, w tym kompozycję elektroakustyczną i improwizację nieidiomatyczną. Jego instalacje i interwencje dźwiękowe badają takie tematy, jak percepcja i propagacja fal dźwiękowych, zniekształcenia czasowe, psychoakustyka oraz relacje między dźwiękiem, architekturą i przestrzenią miejską.
Lebik występował na festiwalach i w miejscach takich jak TPAM (Jokohama, JP), Rewire (Haga, NL), CTM (Berlin, DE), Fiber Festival (Amsterdam, NL), TodaysArt Festival (Haga, NL), MONOM (Berlin, DE), Tokyo Jazz (Tokio, JP), Umbrella (Chicago, US), Experimental Intermedia (Nowy Jork, US), SuperDeluxe (Tokio, JP) i Fylkingen (Sztokholm, SE).
