Wojciech Skiba – painter of large-format canvases in mixed technique, mainly oil, which are characterized by unobvious density of composition and expressive color. Paintings that need to be viewed both from afar – to encompass the whole by sight, and up close – to appreciate the intensity of precisely planned combinations of color and form. The noise of expression, transitions from abstraction to figurativeness, formal experiments, repeated inscriptions, motifs and words. For more than 20 years he has been consistent in exploring the possibilities of painterly means of expression. He has presented his works in Poland and abroad.
