Morphine Raum vol. 2: Ola Rzepka (PL), Zosia Ilnicka (PL), Axel Dörner, Erhard Hirt / Avant Art & Ad Libitum
Ola Rzepka and Zosia Ilnicka, some of the most interesting artists of the younger generation of improvised music in Poland, will meet on stage two figures-institutions of the German scene, Axel Dörner and Erhard Hirt. Together Rzepka and Ilnicka form the duo DEAE, which has an album of unconventional interpretations of the works of Hildegard of Bingen, but the concert with Dörner and Hirt - unusual even in terms of the band's instrumentation (flutes, trumpet, guitar, percussion) - will be entirely, from scratch, improvised. The event is the result of cooperation between the Polish festivals Avant Art and Ad Libitum and the realization of the idea of joint concerts by Polish artists already hosted at Ad Libitum with German musicians invited to the Warsaw edition of the festival. The Polish-German quartet will perform for the second time in the finale of Ad Libitum, on September 15, at the W. Lutoslawski Concert Studio of the Polish Public Radio in Warsaw.
