Ola Rzepka (PL)
Ola Rzepka – drummer, pianist, composer and performer. A graduate of the Rhythmic Music Department of the Academy of Music in Katowice at the Faculty of Composition, Interpretation, Education and Jazz, and a scholarship holder of the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen in the piano and percussion class. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and the Office of the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship. She teaches piano improvisation at the K. Szymanowski Secondary Music School in Katowice, conducts her own lessons and music workshops. She has cooperated, among others, with Raphael Rogiński, Antoni Ziut Gralak. She has written music for theater performances in, among others, the Słowacki Theatre in Kraków, the Capitol in Wrocław, as well as in Germany and Switzerland. She has performed with her own repertoire at many festivals of avant-garde, improvised, contemporary, pop and jazz music in Poland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Estonia, Macedonia and Turkey. Featured among the Jazz Top drummers of 2024 according to the Jazz Forum magazine critics’ poll.
