IFS meets AGF (PL/DE)
IFS AGF is a trio composed of two producers, Ostrowski and Wysocki, together with activist, sound artist, and vocalist Antye Greie-Ripatti, known as AGF.
The idea of recording an album with AGF emerged within a project organized by Bydgoskie Studio Eksperymentu, during which Ostrowski, Wysocki, and Greie-Ripatti spent three days together in Bydgoszcz. The collaboration culminated in a joint performance at the iconic MÓZG club. Material recorded during rehearsals and the concert later became the foundation for the album.

Musically, the artists used every possible opportunity to transform the time they spent together into verbal and sonic material. Sounds recorded from their surroundings were incorporated into the album’s sonic landscape, fragments of conversations between Antye Greie-Ripatti, Ostrowski and Wysocki became part of the lyrics, and the artists’ walks through the city provided an important backdrop for AGF’s poetic narratives.
East-West Logistics is characterized by a minimalist approach. AGF’s voice moves between spoken word and singing, maintaining calmness and attentiveness on the one hand while precisely describing the observed world on the other.
At the same time, IFS AGF created a soundscape that both complements Greie-Ripatti’s narrative and functions as an independent sonic story in its own right.
