Szymon Wójcik (PL)
A composer, guitarist, and improviser based in Cologne. His practice centers on exploring the liminal territories of harmony that extend beyond the traditional Western major–minor dichotomy, as well as on the use of psychoacoustic phenomena and subtle nuances of tuning and intonation.
In his work, he combines synthetic sounds with acoustic instruments, creating compositions for instrumental ensembles, electroacoustic pieces, and sound installations. His works have been performed, among others, by Ensemble Musikfabrik. His latest album, when you rub your eyes, you see things you can’t describe, was released on Sawyer Editions in January 2026.
