Tuleje (PL)
The band Tuleje is formed by Gosia Zagajewska, Ksawery Wójciński, and Wojtek Kurek. Their music is based on original arrangements of folk music from eastern Greater Poland, as well as poetic texts written by Gosia Zagajewska.
The musical arrangements created by Tuleje reflect a bold artistic approach, rich in references to jazz, blues, early music, and free improvisation.

In November 2022, the band released their debut album, Ciche miejsca, through Gusstaff Records and Don’t Sit On My Vinyl. The album features eight compositions inspired by traditional melodies from the villages of Babiak, Osiek, and Kramsk, built around original lyrics by Gosia and arrangements by Wojtek and Ksawery.
In May 2024, again released by Gusstaff Records and Don’t Sit On My Vinyl, the band’s second album, Puste ulice, came out. It is a thoughtful, intense, and cohesive work, consisting of both soothing ballads and short, dynamic pieces touching on punk and free jazz. The trio consistently familiarizes listeners with a fearless reinterpretation of traditional music while surprising them with fresh, mature, and bold ideas. The full sound of double bass and drums creates space for a powerful vocal line, forming a solid structure in which the three instruments intertwine seamlessly.
In June 2026, the band’s third album, Nagłe przejaśnienia, will be released by Gusstaff Records and Don’t Sit On My Vinyl. The record contains nine original songs composed for voice, drums, bass guitar, and double bass. Some of the pieces draw in an original way on traditional melodies from the Konin region, while others are urban, archaic songs of the future — created under the influence of many years of working with traditional music, yet opening entirely new and unknown paths.
The band has performed at festivals such as Ethniesy, Inne Brzmienia, Energia Dźwięku, Strefa Ciszy, Retroperspektywy, Lado na Wsi, and Lodžie Worldfest, as well as venues including Tamka, BWA Zielona Góra, SPATiF, and Wieża Ciśnień.
